Waving goodbye

Letting go is sometimes difficult as it is a loss in how we feel and think.  We change in doing so which can cause fear and trepidation.  Sometimes waving goodbye opens us up to new possibilities which lead to other directions in which to grow.

After watching Christopher Robin, I discovered a wise way of being.  Pooh talks about doing nothing.  He is right.  A lot of the time being open to the world and riding the wave is the best types of nothing.

Finding now


Being able to know the here and now can be a gift.  At times the thoughts that run through the mind can be more distracting than what faces us in the realness that surround us.

The most pleasant time of my day is lying down with a furry friend.  Tonight with sleet and possibly snow in the forecast, the ability to keep my 16 year old grump dry and safe, is a wonderful thing.

Letting it go


Again, weight can bear us down physically, mentally, emotionally and spiritually.  Spiritual weight may be the hardest.  Finding common unity in all things may be all we need to help free us of this weight or at least make it lighter.  Not being alone helps in knowing that we are part of something bigger, more beautiful and more loving then we can be alone.

Weight


Losing pounds as in physical weight and in emotional weight can both be difficult.  Each takes exercise as well as watching what we take into our body.  Being mindful of both can help lead to more freedom and energy.

Seconds


I have trying to look at taking seconds out of the day to breathe, especially when the thoughts try to take over.  Remembering to take a few seconds has helped me feel calm down the thoughts which can lead to anxiety and pain.   Keep breathing.

Courage


Courage is difficult.   At times, I have issues with knowing what to have courage in and what to let go.  I have spoken up in times in which I wish I would have been quiet and vice versa.  I think this is where silence comes in to allow ourselves to know when the moment is right between ourselves and the higher spirit whatever it is.
